If you plan on packing your MasterCard® CheckCard, here are a few tips to ensure a hassle-free trip:

Call us before you travel out of state or overseas and let us know when you'll be gone and where you are going. As a security feature, CheckCard® purchases can be rejected if they are out of your normal purchase habits. This can be avoided if we are aware of potential foreign transactions on your account.

Know your Personal Identification Number (PIN). Many foreign countries require your PIN for ALL transactions.

Protect your MasterCard® CheckCard from fraud. Whenever possible, use well known financial institutions to withdraw cash.

Make a photocopy (front and back) of your CheckCard. Keep it in a safe place so you have your card number and the phone number to call in the event your card is lost or stolen.

If you will be traveling to one of these countries, please contact us toremove the block so your card can be used in that country. Due to reports of excessive fraudulent activity, these blocks were placed for your protection.
