This position will be compensated depending upon skills, abilities, and experience of the candidate, including annual bonus. This individual will devise and execute business development strategies to attract and acquire new clients, advise clients regarding the advantages and disadvantages of different investment strategies, prepare and update investment/financial plans, create, implement, and continually review a plan that includes strategies designed to help clients pursue their long-term goals, update and maintain portfolio information for clients, schedule appointments with clients and respond to client inquiries, maintain client files and records for compliance purposes, and achieve client satisfaction and loyalty. Intelligent, motivated candidate should have at least five years of demonstrated ability to accumulate a critical mass of assets and relationships with high net worth clients. Bachelor’s degree, series 7, series 63, CFP® certification and state insurance licensing are a MUST; series 24 and 51 are desired. The successful candidate must be disciplined and patient in the earlier stages of the client development process and should possess an entrepreneurial spirit with a strong work ethic. Must be familiar with SEC compliance, have excellent Microsoft Office skills, knowledge of financial and tax planning software, and possess exceptional interpersonal skills and high level of integrity with superior written and oral communication skills.
